Who Is RED

From the principal pilot, through our stable of aviators, we deliver superior service with an all airline experienced crew roster. In fact, our former airline pilots experience ranges from military flying to bush flying, and doing the job in every corner of the globe.

Our principal pilot, Canadian born Kurt Schultz has been working on the idea of RED for a decade, and now sees the opportunity to fill a void that has been exasperated by the reduction in regional flying, but none the less has existed in the New Zealand market for a truly professionally operated fractional ownership program.

A lifelong pilot with three decades of experience, Kurt has flown everything from bush planes in Canada, to the biggest of the Boeing airliners worldwide.

From the Canadian Arctic to the Persian Gulf and Europe, from Central America to the South Pacific and Asia, Kurt has  been in command of airplanes carrying passengers and freight in every environment, has trained pilots, and has set up new operations.

RED is the culmination of an aviation career that has taught extraordinary lessons in safety and operations, and now moves forward to providing The Premium private air operation that New Zealand has been missing, up until now.

With that experience, RED promises to provide the best service quality available in Australasia. By attracting the best people from the industry, and further encouraging and enabling them to expand and grow their own desire to employ the most exacting standards, RED will deliver on the high expectations demanded by the fractional owners.

More importantly, RED  is the group of fractional owners who entrust the security, and safety of their families, colleagues, and themselves, as well as, quite simply, their time to the people at RED.
